Easy Tells & C. Gibbs occupy Joe’s Pub

Okay, so it’s an overused phrase but Brandau and I will be filling double duty on Tuesday, January 10th playing with both C. Gibbs & The Mothers and Easy Tells. This promises to be a great night of music and we’re collectively looking forward to occupying Joe’s Pub!

Guitarist Ryan Mackstaller lives in Brooklyn, NY and performs as a member of The Majorleans, Easy Tells, and Tam Lin. He also works with solo artists Julie Kathryn, Christian Gibbs (Lucinda Black Bear), Paul Sigismondi, and Anita Maj (UK).

Ryan also moonlights as an improviser and noise-maker in New York performing with artists including Gerald Cleaver, Mat Maneri, Tony Malaby, Michael Formanek, Andrew Bishop, Jon Irabagon, James Ilgenfritz, Vinnie Sperrazza, Rick Parker & Tim Kuhl. Rick, Tim and Ryan recently started the project Little Worlds, which explores the Mikrokosmos pieces penned by 20th century Hungarian composer Bela Bartok.

Ryan also works as an engineer and producer out of a secret basement studio rumored to be near Lafayette and Crosby streets in Manhattan.
